🎯 Über die Rolle
Als BIM-Koordinator unterstützen Sie Projektteams bei der Umsetzung und Pflege von BIM- und modellbasierten Arbeitsmethoden in komplexen Infrastruktur- und Bahnprojekten.
Sie koordinieren digitale Modelle, verwalten technische Dokumentationen, überprüfen die Qualität der von externen Parteien gelieferten Informationen und stellen sicher, dass genehmigte Dokumentationen korrekt strukturiert und in den digitalen Systemen des Kunden gespeichert sind.
Zusätzlich zu projektspezifischen Aufgaben tragen Sie zu kontinuierlichen Verbesserungsinitiativen und der Entwicklung von BIM-Richtlinien, Prozessen und modellbasierten Arbeitspraktiken bei.
🔧 Hauptverantwortlichkeiten
Koordinieren von BIM-Aktivitäten und digitalem Modellmanagement über mehrere Infrastrukturprojekte hinweg.
Beitragen zur Erstellung technischer Anforderungen und Beschaffungsdokumentation.
Sicherstellen, dass Auftragnehmer und externe Parteien die Dokumentationsanforderungen, technischen Spezifikationen und festgelegten Verfahren einhalten.
Koordinieren interner und externer Dokumentenlieferungen.
Qualitätsprüfungen digitaler Modelle durchführen, einschließlich Kollisionserkennung und Modellvalidierung.
Zusammenarbeiten mit den BIM-Koordinatoren und Datenkoordinatoren der Auftragnehmer, um Prozesse, Routinen und Lieferungen zu überwachen.
Strukturieren, verwalten und koordinieren von Informationsflüssen zwischen dem Kunden, Auftragnehmern und Projektteams.
Verwalten der Protokollierung, Speicherung, Verteilung und Rückverfolgbarkeit digitaler Dokumentation und Projektinformationen.
Überprüfte und genehmigte Dokumentationen in die digitalen Systeme des Kunden hochladen.
Unterstützen Sie die kontinuierliche Verbesserung von BIM-Richtlinien, digitalen Ingenieurpraktiken und modellbasierten Arbeitsabläufen.

Fähigkeiten & Anforderungen
✅ Erforderliche Fähigkeiten & Qualifikationen
Relevante Erfahrung in der BIM-Koordination, digitaler Ingenieurskunst, technischer Dokumentation oder einem verwandten Infrastrukturbereich.
Erfahrung in der Koordination digitaler Modelle und technischer Informationen in Bau- oder Infrastrukturprojekten.
Verständnis von BIM-Prozessen, 3D-Modellierung, Modellkoordination und digitalem Informationsmanagement.
Erfahrung in der Überprüfung der Modellqualität, Identifizierung von Konflikten und Sicherstellung der Einhaltung der Projektanforderungen.
Fähigkeit zur Koordinierung der Dokumentenlieferungen und Nachverfolgung der technischen Einreichungen von Auftragnehmern.

Erfahrung in den folgenden Bereichen ist von Vorteil:

🎯 About the Role
As a BIM Coordinator, you will support project teams in implementing and maintaining BIM and model-based working methods across complex infrastructure and station projects.
You will coordinate digital models, manage technical documentation, verify the quality of information delivered by external parties, and ensure that approved documentation is correctly structured and stored in the client's digital systems.
In addition to project-specific responsibilities, you will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and the development of BIM guidelines, processes, and model-based working practices.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
Coordinate BIM activities and digital model management across multiple infrastructure projects.
Contribute to the preparation of technical requirements and procurement documentation.
Ensure contractors and external parties comply with documentation requirements, technical specifications, and established procedures.
Coordinate internal and external documentation deliveries.
Perform quality reviews of digital models, including clash detection and model validation.
Collaborate with contractors' BIM coordinators and data coordinators to monitor processes, routines, and deliverables.
Structure, administer, and coordinate information flows between the client, contractors, and project teams.
Manage the logging, storage, distribution, and traceability of digital documentation and project information.
Upload reviewed and approved documentation into the client's digital systems.
Support continuous improvement of BIM guidelines, digital engineering practices, and model-based workflows.
Help ensure that project documentation is complete, accurate, and ready for handover to the organisation responsible for long-term management.
Skills & requirements
✅ Required Skills & Qualifications
Relevant experience in BIM coordination, digital engineering, technical documentation, or a related infrastructure discipline.
Experience coordinating digital models and technical information across construction or infrastructure projects.
Understanding of BIM processes, 3D modelling, model coordination, and digital information management.
Experience reviewing model quality, identifying clashes, and ensuring compliance with project requirements.
Ability to coordinate documentation deliveries and follow up on contractors' technical submissions.
Strong understanding of information flows, documentation structures, and quality assurance processes.
Ability to work collaboratively with BIM coordinators, contractors, project teams, and other stakeholders.
A structured, detail-oriented, and proactive approach to problem-solving.
Strong organisational and communication skills.

Experience in the following areas will be an advantage:
Electrical infrastructure, power transmission, or substation projects.
GIS substations and stations using gas-insulated switchgear.
BIM coordination in complex construction or engineering projects.

Digital document management, information delivery specifications, and technical handover processes.
Coordination of multiple contractors and stakeholders in large infrastructure programmes.

🔐 Important: Security Clearance
This assignment requires a security protection agreement and completion of the applicable security clearance process before work can begin.
