Als Systemarchitekt in der Produktionseinheit sind Sie im Herzen der Produktion, erstellen Datenstrukturen und Informationsflüsse, die Einfluss darauf haben, wie Systeme interagieren und zusammenarbeiten. Sie arbeiten sowohl auf operativer als auch strategischer Ebene. In enger Zusammenarbeit mit anderen treffen Sie Entscheidungen, die unmittelbare Auswirkungen auf die Backlogs der agilen Entwicklungsteams haben.
Aufgaben
Als Systemarchitekt werden Sie sich hauptsächlich darauf konzentrieren, die Datenstreaming-Plattform auf Basis von Confluent Cloud für langfristige Relevanz zu stärken. Mit praktischer Erfahrung in der Plattformtechnologie werden Sie verschiedene Wege erkunden, um die Benutzerfreundlichkeit für downstream Dienste weiter zu verbessern. Sie werden eng mit der Geschäftseinheit, Architekten auf verschiedenen Ebenen und Entwicklungsteams zusammenarbeiten.
Ihre Arbeit umfasst (aber ist nicht beschränkt auf):
Entwicklung und Pflege von Datenmodellen, Schemata, Versionen unter Sicherstellung einer hohen Datenqualität
Verbesserung der Plattformfähigkeiten wie Sicherheit, Skalierbarkeit, Beobachtbarkeit usw. mit neuen Ideen und Durchführung von POCs
Erstellung und Pflege von Dokumentationen zur Datenplattform
Aktive Zusammenarbeit mit Plattformkunden für einen reibungslosen Übergang und Geschäftskontinuität
Integration moderner Funktionalitäten und Workflows in die Plattformlandschaft für einen verbesserten Geschäftswert
Identifizierung von Engpässen, Schwachstellen in der Plattform und Initiierung von Maßnahmen zu deren Behebung
Must-have:
Praktische Erfahrung mit Datenstreaming-Plattformen wie Confluent oder Apache Kafka
Starkes Verständnis und Wissen über eventgesteuerte Architekturen im großen Unternehmensmaßstab
Praktische Erfahrung mit Informationsmodellen und Daten Governance, einschließlich der Dokumentation aktueller Datenflüsse und der Erstellung eines gewünschten Zustands, auf den hingearbeitet werden soll
Tiefes Verständnis für transaktionsintensive IT-Systeme
Erfahrung in der eigenständigen Durchführung von Initiativen und Transformationen
Ausgezeichnete Kommunikationsfähigkeiten mit starken Fähigkeiten im Stakeholder-Management
Hohe Integrität und Analysefähigkeiten
Fähigkeit, Geschäftsbedürfnisse zu verstehen und zu modellieren
Verständnis für die Bedeutung der Abwägung funktionaler und nicht-funktionaler Anforderungen
Mehrere Jahre Erfahrung in der Softwareentwicklung, solides Verständnis von Softwarearchitektur, Entwurfsmustern und Best Practices
Nice-to-have:
Erfahrung in der Logistik- oder Lieferkettenbranche.
Erfahrung beim Aufbau von microservicebasierten Architekturen
Fließende Schwedischkenntnisse
Wissenserfordernisse
Bauingenieurwesen, Bachelorabschluss in Informatik (mindestens) oder gleichwertig
Fließende Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift.

Postnord is undergoing a large transformation within the Production domain to modernize and harmonize our IT across the Nordics. We are leaving a monolith-centric past and entering into a streaming and microservice based future in the cloud.
As a System Architect in the Production Core unit, you will be in the heart of production, creating data structures and information flows that impact how systems interact and collaborate. You will be working from operational all the way to strategic level. In collaboration with others, you will be taking decisions with immediate implications on agile development team’s backlogs.
Job duties
You as System Architect will primarily have focus on strengthening the Data Streaming platform, based on Confluent Cloud, for long term relevance. With hands-on experience on the platform tech-stack, you will explore different ways to further increase the usability for downstream services. You will work closely with business, architects on different levels and development teams.
Your work will include (but not limited to):
Develop and maintain data models, schemas, versions by ensuring high data quality
Improve platform capabilities like security, scalability, observability, etc. with new ideas and running POCs
Creating and maintaining documentation around the Data Platform
Actively work with platform clients for smooth transitioning and business continuity
Incorporate modern functionalities and workflows on platform landscape for improved business value
Identify bottlenecks, loopholes in the platform and drive initiatives for their resolution
Must-have:
Hands-on experience with Data Streaming platforms like Confluent or Apache Kafka
Strong understanding and knowledge of event driven architectures on a large enterprise scale
Hands-on experience with information models and data governance including documenting current data flows and creating a wanted state to work towards
Deep understanding of transaction intensive IT Systems
Experience in driving initiatives and transformations independently
Excellent communication skills with strong stakeholder management abilities
Strong integrity and analysis skills
Capability to understand and model business needs
Understanding of the importance of weighing both functional and non-functional requirements
Several years of experience in software development, solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices
Nice-to-have:
Experience in the logistics or supply chain industry.
Experience in building Micro-Service based architecture
Fluency in Swedish
Knowledge requirement
Civil Engineering, bachelor’s degree in computer science (as a minimum), or equivalent
Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
