Job description

Job Description
Are you a technical problem solver with a strong background in operations, maintenance, and property technology? Do you also have experience in both property electronics and hydraulics? Then you could be the one we are looking for to take overall responsibility for our production facility in Färgelanda!

As a maintenance technician at Artifex, you have the overall responsibility for our property management as well as operations and maintenance in our industrial and production environment. The role is both strategic and operational; you act as project manager for modernizations and renovations while ensuring that ongoing technical operations run smoothly. You will be the hub of our technical organization and serve as the main contact point for external contractors, suppliers, and authorities. The position is located in Färgelanda. The working hours will not be scheduled for day shifts, instead, you will be placed on either a fixed night shift or weekend shift. Therefore, we see that you are completely flexible with your working hours and enjoy shift work.

Responsibilities
Operations & Maintenance: Plan, lead, and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on the property's technical systems and production-related infrastructure during the current work shift.
Troubleshooting & Repair: Be responsible for service and maintenance of property electronics as well as systems connected to industrial hydraulics and pneumatics.
Project Management & Operations: Drive, structure, and follow up on projects concerning renovations, machine investments, and energy efficiency improvements, and ensure operations when production is underway.
External Contacts: Coordinate and specify work performed by external contractors and service partners, as well as ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications
Professional Experience: You have relevant and documented experience in property management or technical maintenance in an industrial production environment.
Technical Expertise: You should have previously worked with property electronics and have a good understanding of control and regulation technology. Experience in troubleshooting and maintenance of hydraulic systems is a requirement.
Education: Technical education at the upper secondary or post-secondary level (preferably with an electrical engineering background).
Personal Qualities & Working Hours: We are looking for a structured, independent, and proactive person. Because the position involves shift work—where one works either night shifts or weekend shifts—it requires that you are flexible with your working hours and enjoy the conditions that inconvenient working hours entail.
